Men’s Golf Association
The MGA meets on a quarterly basis. The MGA oversees most of the golfing activities of the Club such
as Nassau and tournaments. The MGA provides financial and coaching support for
junior golfers. Its monthly meetings are an occasion for good fellowship for
all men of the Club.
Its membership is not limited to golfers alone.

Greetings from the Greens Crew-
The grass is really growing now.
The grass is taking off from our fertilizer applications and the afternoon
showers we have been receiving is much appreciated. Let’s pray we keep getting a
shower or two each week.
Compare to last year, our greens
did not bounce back as quickly after aerification. This year’s aerification was
three weeks earlier and it has taken more time to recover. We have applied
fertilizer to help push the greens more rapidly.
We have begun our normal “dusting”
of sand on the greens every two weeks. This will provide a really smooth putting
surface. The first week of June, we will begin the normal verticutting to
thin/remove the thatch layer.
The June Low Ball Tournament is
set for June 28 & 29. The sign-up sheet is in the Pro Shop. Get your team in
now.
Kids—you have three months to get
your golf game in shape for the Junior Magnolia...so come on out and practice.
